This Is Only The Beginning

Our First Six Months

Back in the late part of 2018 we made a decision, a decision that would affect the rest of our lives. We decided to go out on our own and start a business. Not just any business, but one that would give others the possibility of becoming the masters of their own destiny as well.

After working in a chain salon for 10 years it was time for a change. Not that chain salons are bad but they do tend to stifle your creativity. Generally speaking you are married to the products and systems that they use with little chance of going outside the box. Don't get me wrong. The salon's that I worked for gave me structure and taught me technique that I still use today. But after being educated by them and following their standards, there is little chance to experiment with other styles, techniques and product.

Well enough about that....

We went out on our own to give our clients a quality and friendly service, with the possibility of expanding our creativity as well. I believe this can be beneficial to all stylists in the long run.

We opened on December 12th of 2018. We were scared but hopeful. We didn't know what the next day would bring. But after the last 10 years in the industry we built a strong clientele that eventually found us and are still finding us today. We don't call our clients... well umm… clients. We call them guests if its their first time to our salon, and friends and family if they continue to visit us. We have created a home type environment and feel to our salon. A feeling where our guests, friends and family can make themselves at home. We create a bond with our clients that makes everyone feel comfortable with each other.

I realize that the bottom line in any business is money, lets face it. But let me ask you this... without a happy clientele, where is the money going to come from?

In closing this, our first blog, I would like to thank our guests, friends and family. It is you guys that have made this all possible. We appreciate and love you all.
